This Privacy Policy explains how Tennis Speed Gun (the “App”) handles information. Tennis Speed Gun is provided by Jian Chen (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Information the App accesses
Camera. If you use Camera mode, the App accesses your device camera to analyze tennis serves and estimate ball speed. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us.
Photos and video files. If you choose a video using the system photo or file picker, the App accesses only the item you select. The selected video is processed on your device to measure serve speed. The App does not require ongoing access to your photo library.
Information we collect
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information through the App. The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or browsing history.
Measurement results and settings are handled locally on your device. We do not receive camera footage, selected videos, or measurement results.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The App does not include third-party advertising or tracking technologies, and we do not use your information for targeted advertising.
Third-party services
The App uses Apple system frameworks, including the camera and system picker, to provide its features. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.
Data security and retention
Because the App does not send your footage or results to us, we do not retain those materials on our servers. You are responsible for managing or deleting any videos, screenshots, or results saved elsewhere on your device.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
